After growing up nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Utah, I spent a few decades wandering the planet, collecting rocks, memories, and a few gray hairs.
I was “classically trained” as an Air Force Officer, and now have transitioned to civilian work in Northern Virginia where I live with my wife.
I am a storyteller.
My work tends toward the speculative, because I searched for myself in the things I read and always came up short.
My work is grounded in ordinary human choices: who we protect, what we sacrifice, and how we show up when the stakes are real.
